We’re excited to introduce our latest release, packed with enhancements to improve your experience. Let’s dive into the details!

Data Architecture Refactor: We’ve undertaken a major overhaul of our data architecture to boost the performance and reliability of your dashboard.

  • Faster Dashboard Load Time: By optimizing data queries, we’ve significantly reduced the number of back-end calls required to display your dashboard. Enjoy faster load times and quicker access to your energy insights!

Minor Enhancements & Bug Fixes: We’ve fine-tuned several features to improve functionality:

  • Recent Meter Load Date Tag: Our extended data architecture now includes a tag for the most recent meter load date. Say goodbye to null values in charts during latency periods.
  • Updated ‘As Of’ Date: The ‘as of’ date now accurately reflects the most recent meter load, keeping you informed with real-time data.
  • Improved Chart Presentation:
    • By Hour of Day: We’ve switched the x-axis from military time to standard time for better readability.
    • By Day of Month: Visualization issues causing abrupt drop-offs during latency have been resolved.
    • By Day of Week: The chart now spans a rolling 14-day period, providing a more comprehensive view.

Known Issues

We understand that our app is still in its early stages, and we appreciate your patience as we work hard to enhance it. Below are some of the issues we’re actively addressing:

  • Missing Retail Electric Providers (REPs): In the sign-up workflow, some retailers are currently excluded due to grouping issues. For instance, Cirro Energy, Discount Power, and US Retailers share the same parent company, but only US Retailers appears in the drop-down menu. If you can’t find your specific retailer, please reach out to our support team for assistance.
  • Login Credentials Case Sensitivity: Our login system is currently case sensitive, leading to false errors related to username and password combinations. We’re working to implement a case-insensitive validation mechanism to ensure a seamless login experience.
  • Clean Energy Impact Calculation: We’ve identified a bug affecting the accuracy of the Clean Energy Impact calculation. Rest assured, we’re actively fixing this issue to provide reliable environmental impact data.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we resolve these issues, and we welcome your feedback and suggestions. If you have any ideas for new features, please let us know on our contact page.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support as we strive to improve our app! 💚
